The platform includes voice-to-document conversion, proprietary error correction, compliance guardrails, and secure document storage. All output is intended for review by a qualified professional before filing or sharing.

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when creating your account.
• Keep your login credentials confidential and secure.
• Review all AI-generated documents before filing, sharing, or relying on them professionally.
• Use CounselPad only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable professional standards.
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or misuse any part of the platform.

4. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and technology comprising CounselPad — including software, design, trademarks, and documentation — are owned by CounselPad.ai and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the documents and content you create using the platform. By using CounselPad, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the service. Your data is never used to train shared AI models.

5. Limitation of Liability

CounselPad provides AI-generated drafts as a documentation aid. We do not provide legal advice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CounselPad shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including reliance on AI-generated documents without professional review.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to CounselPad in the three months preceding the claim.

6. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or engage in conduct that harms other users or the platform. Upon termination, your data is retained for 30 days before permanent deletion, unless you request immediate deletion.

7. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the applicable courts of competent jurisdiction.
